His famous painting ‘Het straatje’ does not only depict the house of his patron.
It also reveals the contours of the hidden church located within that patron’s malthouse.
De Britse historicus Andrew Graham-Dixon heeft een boek over Vermeer geschreven. Dat boek komt op 23 oktober 2025 uit.
